Committing to authentic relationships

One way to commit to authentic relationships is growing in them, taking time to live in community, & walking along side people in your journey along the way. At the Pursuit you can grow in your commitment to those relationships with values of invitational, relational, and transformational love.
"This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.  No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us." 1 John 10-12NLT
Invitational: Jesus calls people to follow him. He is not manipulative, coercive, or exclusive in his invitation to follow him. We desire to follow & exemplify Jesus' model.
Relational: Practicing Jesus' way in community, empowered to love one another through the Spirit of God.
Formational: Allowing yourself to have an awareness of & be formed by God's love &  through others.
"I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God." Ephesians 3:16-19NLT
